For the month of October I am pledging to write at least 30 minutes for 30 days of the month, and I would like your help. To help push me along I am asking for pledgers to support my writing challenge. The mission of the San Diego Council on Literacy is to unite the community to support literacy through leadership, advocacy, and resources.

Currently, there are 26 affiliated literacy programs that provide free literacy assistance to adults, families and children in San Diego County.

During 2013, these programs served over 170,000+ individuals of all ages, at no cost.
